How One Haircut Inspired a Movement—and a Website
At New Path Webworks, we’re excited to welcome our newest client: Cuts 4 Christ. This nonprofit mobile salon ministry serves people experiencing homelessness and others in need.
But they offer more than just haircuts. Cuts 4 Christ brings dignity, confidence, and hope—one small act of kindness at a time.
A Mission Built on Compassion
In the summer of 2023, Virginia Oakes led the hair-cutting station at a local outreach event called the Day of Joy. Her team gave 70 haircuts in just four hours. That single experience sparked something powerful.
Soon after, she launched Cuts 4 Christ—a ministry focused on providing haircuts, hygiene products, clothing, and everyday essentials like soap and toilet paper.
Their mission is simple but deep: to be the Hands and Feet of Christ. They don’t just meet physical needs—they help people feel seen, valued, and restored.
A Website That Reflects Their Heart
This project was close to my heart. Cuts 4 Christ wasn’t just another client—they were my first web design project. From the beginning, I wanted to create a website that reflected the passion and purpose behind their work.
I personally designed, manage, and host their website. It shares upcoming outreach events, tells their story, and makes it easy for visitors to donate, volunteer, or learn more.
Now, their online presence supports their mission and helps them reach even more people.
Moving Forward, One Site at a Time
At New Path Webworks, we love working with organizations that create change. Cuts 4 Christ is a perfect example. Their work shows what’s possible when kindness meets action.
Through web design and ongoing support, I’m proud to help amplify their voice and grow their impact. Together, we’re exploring new paths—one site at a time.
